Summer is still here to play! Join TrailMates for a beautiful day exploring Upper Winner Creek Trail in Girdwood!! A classic Alaska hike featuring lush rainforest, mountain scenery, and a great mix of challenge and fun. This 8.6-mile adventure takes us through the stunning Chugach Mountains with approximately 1,358 feet of elevation gain. Expect a longer day on the trail with steady climbing, beautiful forested sections, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the scenery and connect with fellow hikers.

Meet-Up Location

We'll meet behind the Alyeska Hotel next to the tram station. Please park in the hotel overflow lots. Overflow parking is just a short walk from the main hotel parking area. Please arrive a few minutes early so we can gather the group and start on time.

What to Bring

Come prepared for a full day on the trail:
