About the Hike
There's something pretty special about watching the sun set over Turnagain Arm, and we're heading out to catch it.
Join Ron for an evening hike along the Turnagain Arm Trail. We'll leave the North Trailhead at 5:30 PM and hike approximately 2.2 miles to an overlook, arriving in time to enjoy the sunset!
After soaking up the views, we'll head back the same way, for a total of 4.4 miles. This is an out-and-back hike, not the full trail to McHugh Creek.
Fingers crossed for clear skies and a spectacular Alaska sunset. 🌄

What to Bring
