📍 Meet at South Fork Eagle River Trailhead

Unwind with us on a peaceful evening hike through the South Fork Eagle River valley—one of TrailMates’ most beloved trails for good reason. This casual, out-and-back adventure offers wide open views, gentle elevation, and a well-maintained path that makes it perfect for all levels, including kids and new hikers.

Trail Details:

  • Distance: 4–5.5 miles (depending on weather and group energy)

  • Elevation Gain: ~700 ft

  • Difficulty: Easy

  • Trail Type: Out & Back

We’ll follow the trail to the footbridge or a little further if the weather’s kind and the mood is high. Come enjoy fresh air, community connection, and the beauty of Alaska’s long summer evenings.

What to Bring: Comfortable walking shoes, layers, water, and bug spray. This is a great one to invite a friend or bring the family!

🧭 RSVP to stay in the loop for any weather-related updates or last-minute changes. We can’t wait to see you on the trail!
