About the event

Lion’s Head Hike 🦁⛰️

Join TrailMates for a fun and scenic climb up Lion's Head Trail . It's a short but rewarding hike with incredible views overlooking the surrounding valleys, mountains, and Alaska landscape.

Although this hike is only a little over 2 miles round trip, don’t let the mileage fool you! The trail climbs steadily with nearly 1,000 feet of elevation gain, making it a great workout with a big payoff at the top. Expect a mix of uphill hiking, open viewpoints, and plenty of opportunities to stop, catch your breath, and enjoy the scenery along the way.

This is a community-paced hike designed to bring people together outdoors while enjoying one of the area’s most scenic summit views.
