Lion Head Trail Hike | Chickaloon

Join us for an after-work adventure on Thursday, July 3rd as we take on the Lion Head Trail—a short but steep climb with stunning glacier views! This one’s a local favorite for a reason.

🧭 Important Access Info:At the large gravel area marked "No Trespassing," turn right and head down the gravel driveway. At the gate with the AT&T sign, call the posted number to notify them you're entering. Walk up to the third building, take a right, and go about 100 feet until you see cairns marking the trail start.

💡 What to Bring: Trekking poles, water, layers, and sturdy shoes with good grip. The trail is rocky and steep, but the views of Matanuska Glacier are absolutely worth it!

⚠️ Note: This trail crosses private property easements. Please stay on the path and follow all posted guidance to help keep this trail accessible to the public.
