The glow is back! Join TrailMates for our 2nd Annual Glow Hike! This a fun, social evening on the mountain where we trade the usual daytime views for a little extra sparkle.

Grab your friends, bring your glow gear, and join us for a memorable night hiking under the Alaska sky. This 3-mile adventure is all about community, connection, and doing something a little different from your typical weekend hike. Whether you're a longtime TrailMates member or brand new to the community, this is the perfect excuse to get outside, meet new people, and experience the trail in a whole new way.

  • Distance: Approximately 3 miles

  • Elevation Gain: 1200 ft

  • Difficulty: Easy to Moderate

  • Date: September 25, 2026

  • Start Time: 6:30 PM

  • Meet-Up Location: We will meet at Mount Baldy Trailhead.


Hike Leader: Tina Powers What to Bring:

  • Headlamps or flashlights

  • Glow sticks or LED accessories

  • UV reactive face paint (optional)

  • Glow-up running vests or clothing

  • Water (2–3 liters) and snacks

  • Layers for cool night temperatures

  • Sturdy hiking shoes or boots
