Frostbite Ridge from Skeetawk | Hatcher Pass

Join us for a fun and scenic hike up Frostbite Ridge from Skeetawk on Saturday, September 13 at 10:30 AM! This hike is sponsored by Ameriprise Financial and offers a great opportunity to explore Hatcher Pass with fellow TrailMates.

This moderate/challenging 4-mile hike climbs about 2,200 feet, delivering steady elevation and rewarding views of the Mat-Su Valley and surrounding peaks. The terrain is open and rocky in sections, with plenty of space to soak in the scenery and enjoy conversation along the way. It's a fantastic route for those looking to level up from easy trails but not quite ready for a full-day challenge.
