Join TrailMates for an unforgettable hike to Crystal Lake via the iconic Crow Pass Trail. This rewarding alpine adventure features rushing creeks, wildflower-filled meadows, dramatic mountain scenery, and the stunning turquoise waters of Crystal Lake nestled high in the Chugach Mountains.
The trail climbs steadily through beautiful alpine terrain with nearly 2,000 feet of elevation gain, making it a great challenge for hikers looking to stretch their legs while soaking in some of Alaska's most incredible scenery. Along the way, you'll enjoy panoramic mountain views, waterfalls, and plenty of opportunities for photos before reaching Crystal Lake.
This is a community-paced hike where we'll take breaks along the way and spend time enjoying the views before making our return to the trailhead.

Meet-Up Location: We will meet at the Crow Pass Trailhead parking lot at the top of Crow Creek Road in Girdwood. Please arrive a few minutes early so we can organize the group and begin hiking together.
