🏞 About This Hike

Join TrailMates for a fun fall adventure on the Chutes and Ladders Trail! This short but exciting hike winds through the beautiful forest, with mossy trees, wooden bridges, and views of Winner Creek Gorge. The trail has some fun ups and downs (hence the name!) but is approachable for most hikers and a great way to soak in Alaska’s fall colors before the snow arrives. This trail makes for a perfect Sunday adventure. Please no dogs as it's difficult to get up the obstacles with your fur friends!

🎒 What to Bring

• Sturdy hiking boots with good grip (trail can be muddy or slick)

• Trekking poles (optional but helpful on small climbs/descents)

• 1–2 liters of water
