Difficulty: Challenging
The trail rewards climbers with sweeping vistas at the summit. Perfect for photos, snacks, and soaking in winter landscapes. Expect some steep sections, so plan accordingly.
What to Bring: Please have spikes or traction, trekking poles for stability, layers to stay warm, water, and snacks. Be prepared for wintery conditions.
Parking Info: Meet at Gov Peak Recreation Area. Note there is a $5 parking fee, not included under a State Park Pass.
Led by: Volunteer hike leader Christina, who will guide the group safely while encouraging everyone to enjoy the challenge and views.
