Join us for a steady and scenic climb up Bird Ridge, one of Southcentral Alaska’s most iconic trails! 🥾 This hike will cover 4.4 miles roundtrip with a challenging 3,261 ft elevation gain. Don’t worry — we’ll be taking it nice and easy, with plenty of breaks to catch our breath, enjoy the views, and connect with each other along the way.

Difficulty: Challenging (but we'll pace ourselves!)
What to Bring:Trekking poles, microspikes if conditions are icy, sturdy footwear, plenty of water, layers for changing weather, and snacks to fuel your climb.
Bird Ridge is known for its incredible sweeping views of Turnagain Arm and the Chugach Mountains — and taking it slow means even more time to soak it all in. Whether you're aiming to challenge yourself or just enjoy a good day outdoors, you’ll be in good company.
